At Marcellin College, we offer a personalised curriculum for Years
10 to 12 that focuses on individualised learning and hands-on experiences. Our broad educational opportunities encourage students to discover and pursue individual interests and pathways, but also equip them with essential thinking and communication skills.
As our students move into Year 10, they continue to begin to exercise total control over the structure and key elements of their personalised learning program.
Students are supported to build the foundations of their secondary certificate specialisations, being offered learning experiences that align with their passions, talents and future aspirations.
Students at Year 10 can incorporate Unit 1&2 VCE or VCE VET studies as an enhancement to their Year 10 program.
At Year 11 students can choose from a variety of senior pathway options. a personalised program as part of their two-year program. These include:
- Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE)
- Vocational Education and Training (VET)
- VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM)
- Higher Education in the VCE (University Subjects)
- School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs)
- Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC)
Students in Year 11 have the option to undertake an accelerated Unit 3&4 subject. This will be available to students who meet the criteria, even if they have not undertaken a Unit 1&2 subject.
Students in Year 12 can also pursue University studies as part of their final year at the College.
