(Commencing 2020)

At the Pathways Stage young men choose from forty Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) studies and work industriously towards optimising their post-school opportunities. Young men have the opportunity to undertake a Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) course, a School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBAT) and or selection from a range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) studies as part of their two-year program across the Pathways Stage.

The Pathways Stage is also time of greater independence with flexible arrangements for young men who are required to self-regulate and manage their time based on their personalised learning pathway.

At the Pathways Stage young men receive an increase of available periods throughout their individual 10-day timetable. This provides each young man an opportunity to access services and support such as seeing a Learning Mentor to review academic progression, see a Student Counsellor for personalised wellbeing needs, create a VCE or VCAL study group, visit a Careers Practitioner to discuss tertiary transition or complete a session with a Fitness Coach. The increase of available periods during the Pathways Stage also allows for the opportunity for young men to self-manage their start and finishing times.

At Year 11 our young men have an opportunity to support our Marist Solidarity Immersion to Cambodia. All young men at the Year 12 level are enrolled in our faith-based Seminar and Retreat Programs and undertake a Ministry option further contributing to our call to serve those in greatest need.
