In Years 11 & 12 students choose a personalised program from the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), a School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBAT) and or selection from a range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) studies as part of their two-year program.
Learning
“The learning model aspires to integrate knowledge, character and capability skills for a new world environment to best prepare students for life beyond Marcellin College.”

Pathways
In Years 11 & 12 students choose from forty Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) studies and work industriously towards optimising their post-school opportunities. Young men have the opportunity to undertake a Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) course, a School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBAT) and/or selection from a range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) studies as part of their two-year program across the Pathways Stage.
Years 11 & 12 is also time of greater independence with flexible arrangements for students who are required to self-regulate and manage their time based on their personalised learning pathway.
Students in Year 11 have the option to undertake an accelerated subject. This will be available to students who meet the criteria, even if they have not undertaken a Unit 1 & 2 subject.
At Year 11 students have an opportunity to support our Marist Solidarity Immersion to Cambodia. All students in Year 12 are enrolled in our faith-based Seminar and Retreat Programs and undertake a Ministry option further contributing to our call to serve those in greatest need.
Accelerated opportunities are built into the Pathways Stage, which may include the possible study of University subjects.
