2011 Writers Notebook
By Nives Nibali - Friday, 14 October 2011, 12:08 PM

It is my pleasure to again introduce the work of our students in this third addition of The Writers’ Notebook. I am pleased to announce that there were almost 50 (49) creative and skilled entries published in 2011, the most to date.

Congratulations to all the students who took a chance and sent in their work, I had a great time reading each of the stories and am very proud of the standard of creative writing that our fine College has produced.

Once again, all stories appear pretty much as they were submitted, with only minor editing. We try and teach students the importance of drafting, proof-reading and editing and the success of this tuition has especially been evident in this year’s entries.

Congratulations to all whose thoughts, imagination and literary toil follows; thank you for allowing us to enter your world.

To those who are yet to take the plunge, I hope to be reading you in 2012. To the rest of the Marist community, enjoy, be entertained and be proud!

Yours sincerely,

Nives Nibali
